Black metal banister with 2 adjustable, swiveling and removable spotlights.
Brackets in off-white and gray versions, "micro" shades, globes in metallic gauze or honeycomb, off-white.
Complete original model, rare in its white version, perfectly intact and operational in excellent aesthetic condition.
These lamps were awarded the IF Design Award in 1977 and are now on display at the Centre Pompidou in Paris (see website).
Roger Tallon [1929-2011] is considered one of the greatest figures of French industrial design. He is the author of a multitude of projects in many fields of design, among the most emblematic:
- The M400 spiral staircase, now a benchmark of contemporary design
- The Téléavia P111 portable TV, a cult object exhibited at MoMA (NYC) and elsewhere
- Space Age Module 400 furniture series
- Cryptogamme stools for Mobilier National, in 1969
- Mach 2000 range of watches and chronographs for Lip
- The Derny Taon motorcycle in 1957.

As a consultant to General Motors' Frigidaire subsidiary in the U.S., Tallon designed refrigerators and washing machines, and created the company's design department.
In 1985, the French Ministry of Culture awarded him the Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle. In 1992, he was awarded the insignia of Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres.
Close to the art world, Tallon also worked with Yves Klein, César and Arman.
