Product description
An LC1 Basculant Sling Chair, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. This is an exceptional piece, as it belongs to the earliest production by Cassina in the 1960s. The signature and low serial number, 2447, are engraved in the steel. The chair is still in its original condition, with a beautiful patina on the cowhide and leather armrests. The chrome is flawless, without stains or rust. There is minor damage to the leather (see detailed photos). Overall, it is in excellent condition for a chair over 50 years old. The chair originates from a prominent Dutch architect who was the first owner to acquire it.
