Vintage Carter Brothers Scoop Chair
Designed by Carter Brothers in Salisbury, North Carolina, this scoop chair dates from the late 1950s/60s era of American mid-century design. Curved plywood frame, tapered walnut legs, and a buttoned cushion in a textured white bouclé fabric, a rare variant; most surviving examples are made of vinyl or leather.
