This beautiful brass wall hanging was made in Italy in the 1950s. Although the casting was manufactured in the 20th century, the aesthetic is inspired by medieval and Renaissance heraldic designs. Manufacturers often combined historical motifs such as shields, knight helmets, and woodland animals with noble words like "HONOR" or "VIRTUE" to give it an antique, old-fashioned charm. This key holder displays a knight helmet, a coat of arms, a stag, a dog, and the word 'honor'. It is still in very good vintage condition and has two small holes below the word 'honor' for hanging the wall hanging.
