Black Cesca B32 chair; at the time, the designer did not sign his creations.
Cantilevered chromed tubular steel frame, woven cane seat and back, black wood frame.
An iconic Bauhaus design, perfect for a vintage or contemporary interior.
How to recognize a genuine Cesca B32:
The steel tube is a single piece on the original; copies assemble a top and a bottom section.
The seat is straight and uniform; replicas may be curved downwards.
The wooden frames are thin and elegant, unlike the thicker ones on copies.
Early Thonet or Gavina editions may bear a discreet logo, but Breuer did not sign his pieces. Some modern productions may simply be marked "Made in Italy."
