Made by Kovona, a renowned Czech manufacturer and dealer of the 20th century.It has been fully restored by our professional renovation team in Czechoslovakia according to the original process. The chrome parts have been professionally cleaned and restored. Sold individuallyThis item features classic Bauhaus design elements. The elements of this style are neutral colors, and occasionally bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided fussy and pretentious elements, instead seeking clean, modern lines. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look. More about the manufacturer: Kovona was founded in 1913 by Petr Vichr. In early 1914, the company began importing and installing power equipment and machinery. At the end of 1914, the production of small household appliances began - shovels, hangers, lids, but also metal furniture. Later, more expensive products were produced such as chrome furniture, household furniture with wooden accessories, lacquered hospital and school furniture, kitchen scales and later office furniture.In 1938, the company was retroactively transformed into a joint-stock company. In 1946, the company was nationalized and the national company KOVONA was established.Today, KOVONA is the largest manufacturer of metal furniture in the Czech Republic.
