Vintage Bitossi Rimini Blue Jug – Aldo Londi – Italy – Model 995
A beautiful icon of Mid-Century Modern design. This ceramic jug is an original piece from the famous “Rimini Blue” collection, designed by the influential art director Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche (Italy, ca. 1960s).
The jug is finished in the characteristic deep blue and turquoise glazes reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. The piece is fully decorated all around with the hand-stamped geometric motifs that make this series so beloved by collectors worldwide.
Mark: Hand-signed on the bottom with “Italy” and model number 995.
Condition: In very beautiful vintage condition. The luster of the glaze has been beautifully preserved.
Style: An absolute eye-catcher for a vintage, retro, or modern interior.
