An exceptional architect's chair from the USA, an early model from the 1920s/30s. This chair originally came to Germany with the US Army and thus carries a very special history.
The swivel base offers a wide range of adjustments: seat height (40-50 cm), backrest spring tension, and tilt can all be individually adjusted – a functional design that was far ahead of its time.
The American walnut wood has been carefully restored, sanded, oiled multiple times, and finally polished. The seat has been reupholstered in high-quality black genuine leather.
