Exceptional modern chair in a vibrant blue colour ! Designed in 1959 by Hans J. Wegner for the Danish manufacturer A.P. Stolen. The chair was manufactured between 1959 and the early 1960s. Although not designed specifically for airports, this chair became internationally known at the time when it was used at the Copenhagen Airport, from where it got it's name With this tubular-steel chair Wegner proved that upholstered chairs do not have to be large and overstuffed in order to be comfortable in use.
