Product description
Beautiful and characterful vintage floor lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra Lampen, produced in the 1970s. This is a distinctive and uncommon model that immediately stands out as a sculptural lighting piece in any interior.
The lamp features a slender chrome stem with an adjustable arm connected via a black pivot joint. This construction supports the iconic Dijkstra globe shade, executed in acrylic with a white inner diffuser. The shade can be rotated and directed, allowing the lamp to provide both functional and atmospheric lighting exactly where needed.
The height of the lamp is fully adjustable, making it a versatile lighting solution for different spaces and uses. Whether used as reading light, ambient lighting, or as a statement design object, this lamp offers flexibility and strong visual presence.
A classic example of 1970s Space Age design, combining clean metal lines with warm-toned glass. Perfect for a living room, reading corner, office, or next to a sofa or lounge chair.
The lamp remains in good vintage condition, showing light signs of use consistent with its age, which contribute to its authentic character. Small paint damage in the inner white cap.
