This incredibly large rug comes straight from the 1970s. It comes from a house where time, or rather, the interior, literally stood still. The previous owner, who bought it in the 1970s, has since moved, so the rug can now bring joy to a new generation. Ironically, more than 50 years later, home magazines are once again full of the colors of this rug. It's trending again, but with this rug, you bring the original into your home.
The rug, by Adoros, is made of six different types of polyacrylic wool: off-white/cream, beige, light brown, rust brown, and dark brown. Each color has a different texture: high pile/low pile.
We thoroughly vacuumed the rug and cleaned it with a carpet cleaner. However, there are still a few stains/discolorations on the top, and the underside is yellowed and patchy. If you want it to look like new again, you could take it to a professional carpet cleaning service, who will thoroughly clean it.
