Vintage coffee/tea set in genuine French porcelain by Sofafils (mid-century, 1950s-1960s).
Fine, lightweight porcelain of exceptional quality.
Decorated with turquoise blue forget-me-nots with a silver (platinum) rim in a "country chic" style.
In the language of flowers, the forget-me-not, with its delicate little blue blossoms, is known as "Forget-me-not," symbolizing faithful remembrance, eternal love, and memory.
The set includes 24 pieces:
- 1 large coffee/teapot with lid, 23 cm high, 13 cm diameter,
- 1 sugar bowl with lid, 12 cm high, 11.5 cm diameter,
- 1 milk jug (creamer), 10 cm high, 8 cm diameter,
- 10 cups, 7.5 cm high, 6.5 cm rim diameter,
- 11 saucers, 13 cm diameter.
In very good condition, no chips, decorations and silver trim are very well preserved.
Due to the delicate nature of the porcelain and metal trim, hand washing is recommended (not microwave safe).
