This vintage floating wall cabinet from the 1960s is a characteristic example of functional design from that period. The sleek, rectangular silhouette and contrasting color scheme make it a timeless piece of furniture for various interiors. The cabinet is crafted from wood and features sliding doors in a light white shade, set in a dark brown frame. The doors are equipped with subtle, round wooden handles that integrate seamlessly into the design. The interior offers practical storage space with a wooden shelf, which enhances the functionality of the furniture. The piece is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original finish and character of the wood have been well preserved, contributing to the authentic look of this vintage find. Also looks great as a lower-mounted wall cabinet. Exact dimensions (whd) 252.5 x 34 x 50. The cabinet was commissioned in the 1960s by the design furniture store De Vrij in Leeuwarden. It had to match a desk by designer Kho Liang Ie that was already in the store.
