An elegant display cabinet (high sideboard) dating back to the mid-20th century (circa 1945-1955), perfect for lovers of vintage and modern furniture. The cabinet features a design typical of the Italian "Novecento" period, characterized by splendid burl wood panels that bring warmth and prestige to any space.
Main Features:
Upper Section: Large display cabinet with original sliding glass doors (with handles beveled into the glass) and an internal shelf for displaying crystal or collections.
Lower Section: Two large burl wood hinged doors with original lock and working key.
Style: A charming mix of Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern.
CONDITION
The cabinet is structurally sound and sound. It shows classic signs of aging on the surface finish (whitening spots on the paint and contact stains on the top), as shown in the photos. Ideal for a conservative restoration project that would bring back its original splendor.
