This is an original pastel drawing by the Dutch artist Mieke Dillo, depicting a view of the IJ. The work shows two ship bows, featuring a characteristic color palette that beautifully captures the industrial and nautical elements of the harbor.
The drawing is executed in pastel on paper and is housed in a matching frame with a slightly weathered finish. The back of the work contains a handwritten note with the artist's name and an address in Amsterdam, as well as the mark A23. It was purchased by the current owner under this mark.
The artwork is in good condition. The frame shows slight signs of age that are consistent with the character of the piece.
