A beautiful Victorian-style display cabinet! Made of solid wood in the 1920s or 30s. Some might call it Chippendale, but Chippendale didn't have claw feet. The upper section of the cabinet sits atop the lower section. The upper section has one door with glass panels on the sides and two glass shelves inside. The lower section has two doors. The glass shelves were added in the 1990s to replace the original wooden shelves. Of course, you could easily replace them with wooden shelves. The feet are claw feet, each holding a ball bearing. I lovingly restored the cabinet; the exterior is a dark moss green with gold accents, and the interior is a creamy white. I didn't use chalk paint for this, but rather high-quality acrylic lacquers! Whether with modern or antique decor, the cabinet looks very elegant against a light-colored wall and is a truly beautiful piece. Dimensions are: Display case top: W 115 x D 31 x H 112.5 cm; Cabinet base: W 130 x D 42 x H 60.5 cm; Total height 173 cm. Condition: The cabinet is naturally old and used, and will remain so even after restoration. However, it now only has minimal, normal age-related wear and tear, which is barely noticeable. Overall, the cabinet is now in almost very good condition and looks even better in person than I can convey in the pictures. One more note regarding the picture of the base: A brownish tint appears on the left side in the image. This is not actually there; it is a reflection from the floor or a flaw in my camera.
