This apothecary cabinet with drawers was designed and manufactured in Belgium around 1900, and originated from a hardware store in Antwerp. The cabinet is made of solid wood with wooden knobs and brass numerals. It has retained a rich patina with natural weathering. The drawers are fully functional but show signs of age and use. Overall, the cabinet is in good, sturdy condition.
The internal dimensions of the drawers are: depth 44 cm x width 31 cm x height 10.5 cm. Two rows of five drawers have different dimensions because the cabinet was originally built around a pillar (see photos). A second, nearly identical cabinet is available.
