Info: In an offer on the Internet, individual Vereinigte Werkstätten side tables are offered as "extremely rare, consisting of a gold alloy". These are of course also made of brass! Brass takes on different oxidation colors depending on age, sealing, environment, etc. The color of the metal can basically be determined by the composition of the brass alloy (e.g. higher copper content the redder) (see e.g. fashion jewelry). Otherwise, a clever gold trader would have bought the tables long ago and then melted them down, the profit would be extreme!

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! Golden tones become more yellowish and colors generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the color tones in nature. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

Condition:
The table is technically and visually in good to very good condition. It is very well cared for and has only very minor signs of use. We have deliberately not carried out an extensive restoration here, the table is in far too good a condition for that and the usual oxidation of the brass (dark areas) is very manageable after all these years. Also otherwise, no comparison to the otherwise so often present quirks, scratches or knocks on the table legs and glass tops.
The table comes from the very well-kept home of an elderly lady, which was furnished with fine design classics and high-quality furniture.
