Sawa Keramik was founded in 1904 in Ransbach-Baumbach by Franz Schwaderlapp. The company produced very high-quality pottery. In 1951, they began producing handcrafted, artistic ceramics under the name "SAWA-Keramik." Heinrich-Maria Müller served as the company's chief designer from 1951 to 1965. He personally designed and decorated numerous vases.
Signature: Sawa often features deeper-cut patterns (sgraffito) than other brands. The patterns are also more complex. The best part is that Sawa often applied stickers to their products, and these stickers were/are very difficult to remove. Sometimes only a portion of the label remains (especially the ESR portion), and that is sufficient to identify a genuine Sawa.
This vase is special and unique in size and beautiful execution, designed by Heinrich-Maria Müller. Height 35 cm, diameter 25 cm, base diameter 15 cm with SAWA sticker. 3.6 kg. Perfect condition.
