Product description
Newly assembled vase lamp made from an original Scheurich pagoda vase from the early 1970s. Its characteristic feature is the matte, dark brown glaze with glossy red accent stripes.
The vase is 20 cm high and 13 cm wide at its widest point. As a lamp, it reaches a total height of 46 cm.
The shade has a diameter of 25 cm and is made of high-quality Japanese cotton fabric with a traditional motif:
A dragon is depicted on the front, and a crane on the back – two powerful symbols of Japanese culture representing strength, good fortune, and longevity. The fabric is finely crafted and provides a warm, atmospheric light.
Conversion to a lamp:
The vase, which has a base marking and is of collector's value, was not damaged. No holes were drilled. The socket is securely anchored in the vase using a precisely fitting plug-in solution and can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. The vase has been weighted for stability, and the opening is neatly sealed with a brass cap.
