This elegant vase lamp was crafted from an original ceramic vase by Carstens Tönnieshof – one of the most renowned manufacturers of West German Pottery. The piece is in pristine condition and impresses with its clean lines, high-quality glaze, and harmonious overall effect.
The vase dates from Carstens Tönnieshof's classic production period and showcases the manufacturer's signature clear design language and delicate glaze. Original pieces from this manufacturer are now highly sought-after collector's items in the realm of Mid-Century and WGP ceramics.
The lamp was carefully assembled using a plug-in system. The original vase was not damaged, and no drilling was required. The fabric cable runs directly and discreetly into the E27 socket.
The cylindrical lampshade (Ø 30 cm) is covered in a French half-Panama fabric. The design features a stylized pineapple plant in a modern graphic style. The fabric is translucent, creating a warm, pleasant light that beautifully highlights the vase's color-coordinated glaze.
