Wonderful little VASE in Vintage glazed Ceramics stamped AEGITNA - Vallauris, 1 true Work of Art .
1 unique, graphic and timeless piece!
Very good condition, cracks inside, and old chip underneath on the rim (visible on photos), stamped underneath "AEGITNA - Vallauris Made in France". The story: it was Pablo Picasso who settled in Vallauris from 1948 to 1955, and during these years, he created numerous sculptures and paintings, which created a craze for high Quality Craftsmanship in Vallauris, Art still recognized and collected today . "AEGITNA" Former house, founded by Placide Saltalamacchia in the '50s.
