Exceptional table setting comprising a placemat and matching napkin from the prestigious Valombreuse Paris. These sets belonged to my grandmother. They are magnificent linens that she carefully preserved for special occasions. Today, they deserve to grace a beautiful table and enjoy a second life! The design: A sumptuous antique rose, entirely hand-embroidered in satin stitch with ivy leaves, the napkin features a delicate echo of a green rosebud. High-end finish with a delicate Venetian lace border. Material: High-quality antique linen/cotton blend, offering superb drape and a crisp white. Dimensions: Placemat: 50 x 35 cm / Napkin: 45 x 45 cm. Condition: The linen is in good condition and the weave is very strong. Please note: There are some slight foxing/age stains due to storage (visible in the photos); the price has been adjusted accordingly.
