A beautiful and increasingly collectible dessert service by Val Saint Lambert, produced in pressed crystal and documented in the company’s celebrated 1913 catalogue as part of the “Diamants Pierreries” collection.
The set comprises seven pieces in total: one large serving plate and six matching dessert plates. The elegant geometric design combines diamond-point motifs, radiating fan patterns, and a richly textured surface that captures and reflects light with remarkable brilliance. The 19th century marked a period of significant growth for Val Saint Lambert. By the early 1900s, the company employed over 5,000 workers, producing 120,000 pieces of glass daily.
