More info about annagreen or uranium glass:
Between 1870 and 1940, uranium – or annagreen glass was produced on a fairly large scale. Since uranium glass is currently rarely produced, it is a popular collector's item. Uranium was usually added in small quantities so that the green or yellow glass fluoresces when lit under ultraviolet light. It was mainly used in lamps, bowls, wine glasses, ... including the glass factories Leerdam, Scailmont, Doyen glas and Val Saint Lambert.
