Unique Set of Art Deco / Amsterdam School Club Armchairs – Fully Restored (Men's & Women's)
Offered: A beautiful, original set of two Art Deco / Amsterdam School club armchairs nearly 100 years old. This concerns a rare and authentic 'men's and women's version', where the men's model is subtly more luxuriously designed than the women's model.
The chairs have been fully and expertly restored, with no expense spared. Thanks to this thorough renovation, they are in absolute top condition and offer the comfort of a new chair with the unique appearance of historical design.
What has been renewed on the armchairs?
Completely new internal structure: The webbing, straps, and authentic internal springs have been completely replaced.
Craftsmanship finish: The chairs are finished sleekly all around with brand-new decorative nails.
Woodwork: The characteristic oak armrests have been cleaned, re-lacquered, and are in beautiful condition.
Thanks to the traditional restoration of the springs and the internal structure, the chairs do not sag and offer excellent, firm seating comfort. The upholstery features an atmospheric, classic woven pattern that perfectly matches the zeitgeist of the 1920s and 1930s.
