The works date from 1994 and are in excellent condition. What makes this set special is the thematic unity. Four of the paintings form a rare series of the "Four Seasons," in which a single characteristic Flemish farmhouse is captured in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The collection is completed by an atmospheric mountain landscape and a riverside view with birch trees. Features: Artist: Marie Uytterhoeven (signed and dated). Framing: All works are housed in identical, high-quality Baroque gold frames, custom-made by the renowned framer Hermans-Pihay (Betekom/Lier/Westerlo region). Technique: Oil paint with tactile texture (impasto), which gives the works great depth and character. Condition: Very good condition, colors are still fresh and bright.
