These two plates share the same scalloped rim and both measure 21.5 cm in diameter, yet each displays its own unique hand-painted floral decoration. The unique decorations: The top plate: Shows a classic vase filled with a flower bouquet (a traditional Japanese motif) in the center, surrounded by red and blue segments with floral patterns. The bottom plate: Features a beautiful, large central medallion with a stylized blue chrysanthemum (Kiku), surrounded by panels with geometric diamond patterns (shippo) and blossoms. Condition and Dimensions Condition: Both plates are in very good antique condition. Completely free of chips, cracks, or restorations. Diameter: approx. 21.5 cm. Shipping: Will be packed with extreme care, plenty of bubble wrap, and in a sturdy box. Also check out my other listings for the remaining Imari plates from this collection!
