This concerns a set of two Gelderland sofas, specifically model 310. This design is characterized by a robust, flowing shape typical of the Dutch furniture tradition. The sofas offer a comfortable seating experience thanks to the generous cushions and distinctive slanted armrests.
The sofas are fully upholstered in a mottled blue fabric [De Ploeg Birk 48], creating a calm and timeless appearance. The construction is solid, with the seat and backrest flowing seamlessly into one another. The fabric has a subtle texture that adds depth to the piece of furniture. The sofas rest on unobtrusive, dark legs, placing the volume of the sofa front and center.
The set is in good condition, commensurate with age and use. On one sofa [photo 8], there is some looseness under the fabric at the foot section.
The cushion covers are included. These do not belong to the original sofas.
