Product description
Beautiful glazed earthenware vase or cachepot signed D. Dinis, vintage Portuguese production from the 1960s-1980s. Baluster shape on a fluted foot, with an elegant flared rim, entirely enhanced with a superb gradient of turquoise to deep cobalt blue glaze.
Height 22cm, maximum diameter 20-21cm, opening 13.5cm at its widest point and 11cm at its narrowest. Very good overall condition, with fine natural crazing of the glaze. There is a slight chip in the glaze at the base and a few discreet micro-scratches from use. Approximately 800-900g.
