Trinom chair by Peter Maly for COR, 1960s Germany. A rare and striking set of Trinom modular lounge chairs, designed by Peter Maly in 1969 for the renowned German furniture manufacturer COR. This iconic design embodies the clean lines and sculptural aesthetic of late 20th-century modernism, offering a perfect balance between comfort and architectural form. This particular set was originally purchased in 1971, with the original receipt still preserved, adding a valuable element of authenticity and provenance. The entire set has been fully restored to a high standard, with the outer shells and frames professionally refinished and all seating elements newly upholstered to ensure both comfort and longevity. The set consists of five modular lounge chairs and one low side or coffee table, and thanks to the modular concept, it can be arranged in various configurations to suit different interiors.
