"Touched by Time" Nothing in nature remains unchanged. Every leaf, every branch, and every living being silently bears the traces of time. The soft damage along the leaf edges is not imperfection, but memories. They speak of seasons that have passed, of wind and rain, of sunlight and growth. Time has not taken away beauty, but has actually deepened it. 'Touched by Time' invites us to pause and reflect on the beauty of transience. Just as nature bears its traces, so too are we shaped by everything we experience. Our scars, changes, and experiences do not make us less beautiful, but give depth to who we are. Resilience lies in the vulnerability of the leaf. Enduring beauty lies in transience. Time touches us all, and precisely because of this, allows us to grow. Anneke Winterman is a contemporary artist who draws her greatest inspiration from nature. She completed her studies at the Utrecht School of Arts in 2005, specializing in Autonomous Visual Arts.
