History:
In my youth, I was not exposed to art, and certainly not to nudes. In high school, I developed a talent for working with color and form, often surreal landscapes. At the end of my adolescence, I destroyed my work. Desperate due to not understanding my talent, I turned away from art.
Exhibitions and art fairs:
Affordable Art Amsterdam, Brussels, Art Basel, London, Frankfurt. Virtually all Hilton hotels in Europe and Hilton Beijing, small museum in Italy, participant in the Huizen studio route. Represented in the Netherlands by Dutch Luxury Design, in Italy by Context Art Gallery, and in Treviso, Albania by Intercultural Gallery.
Since early 2022 in Spain by Monat Gallery Madrid.
Working method
I work very intuitively; I conceive of the poses I want to capture beforehand. The creation only takes shape behind my PC / Photoshop. Usually, this begins with a (slight) distortion of the pose. Then, searching for the color combinations. And finally, creating a background.
I like to create backgrounds using unconventional brushes. I also make extensive use of my archive. Coincidentally, I started photographing unusual backgrounds such as walls, murals, and objects at an early age.
