For sale is an original Knoll Lounge Chair in excellent condition.

1x Mid-Century Lounge Chair
Description:
The chair is fully upholstered and features a classic wooden frame with steel wave springs, supported by solid, angled, and tapered solid beechwood legs.
The upholstery is made of fine, soft virgin wool, with seams that are an integral part of the design. These seams are beautifully hand-stitched using the ladder stitch (also known as the magic stitch, as the thread is invisible), demonstrating the highest level of craftsmanship. The backrest is horizontally quilted and finished with two upholstery buttons.
The removable seat cushion has a spring core with horsehair padding and a hand-sewn cover. The cushion pad is made of upholstery felt with a quilted fabric overlay.

Note: The photos are overexposed to show the pristine condition in detail. This makes the colors appear generally lighter. The shaded areas, or those not directly illuminated by the lighting, best represent the true colors. Any sheen or grayish or milky areas in the photos are due to the lighting and reflections. The surfaces have a satin to semi-gloss finish.

Condition:
This lounge chair is very well-maintained and in excellent condition! The previous owner (an architect) had it reupholstered with high-quality pure wool, so our work in this regard was limited to professional cleaning, which we routinely perform on all textiles. The upholstery is otherwise free of scratches, tears, or holes and is completely odorless. There is only a slight tint to the front of the armrests, so it is so subtle that it is not visible in a photograph.
We completely refurbished the beautiful legs, so they now look like new again. We completely removed the old varnish and then applied a multi-stage wood oil treatment. We also fitted them with new upholstery fabric.
All in all, a very beautiful, exceptional armchair in exquisite condition that its new owner will enjoy for decades to come.

TRANSPORTATION:
We have found that transport via Whoppah courier is sometimes significantly (100-150%) higher than the market price of standard furniture removal companies and couriers! We can arrange more affordable transport via a furniture removal company within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighboring German countries, or within the EU, if necessary. Cost-effective non-EU transport via a freight forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
