This Top Form armchair from the 1960s is a striking example of Dutch mid-century design. The design features rosewood accents, resulting in a characterful piece of furniture that immediately catches the eye.
The armchair is crafted with slender metal legs that give the whole piece an airy appearance. The seat and backrest have been reupholstered with a dogtooth pattern in black, white, and grey, combined with black faux leather on the armrests and the outer side. A unique detail is the reversible seat cushion, which displays a sleek striped pattern on one side and a lively floral motif on the other. The wooden accents on the front of the armrests add a warm, natural texture to the design.
The furniture is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The new upholstery has been expertly applied and gives the chair a fresh look, while the original character of the design has been preserved.
