For sale is an original Danish lounge set with cognac/tobacco-colored leather in very good and exceptional condition.

STYLE:
Danish / Mid-Century Modern
DESCRIPTION: Solid teak frame with curved, three-dimensionally crafted armrests. Fitted seat frame with webbing and protective quilted upholstery. Crossbeams screwed and doweled to the side panels. Surface with beautiful visible wood grain. Upholstered cushions with elegant flat-felled seams (in this type of seam, the individual cover pieces interlock like finger wrestling and are then double-stitched. This seam type is therefore considerably more robust, has significantly higher tensile strength, and is considerably more durable than single/standard seams). Back cushions with genuine leather upholstery buttons and zippers. New seat cushions with "comfort" firmness foam (you don't sink in as deeply) instead of "casual" firmness (similar to down) and new leather covers with zippers and ventilation holes. The sheen is slightly more matte than on the back cushions; with increasing use, the leather will smooth out and thus transition from a satin matte to a satin sheen, matching the sheen of the back cushions.

Note:
The photos are overexposed to show the excellent condition in detail. Reddish tones appear more reddish, and colors generally appear lighter. The shadow areas and those not directly illuminated by the camera light best represent the true colors. Any gloss or grayish/milky areas in the photos are due to the lighting and/or reflections. The surfaces have a satin to semi-gloss finish.

CONDITION:
The set is in excellent and exceptional condition, both technically and visually, with only very minor, negligible signs of wear. It is in such excellent condition that our refurbishment work was minimal and essentially limited to a light cleaning, which we always perform. All in all, a very beautiful, high-quality set that will bring joy for decades to come.
The set comes from the home of a childless couple, which was furnished entirely with high-quality Danish teak furniture.
