Titania Queen, an iconic hanging light by Luceplan. Designed by Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Meda in 1989, It is a timeless, modern, versatile object. Slim as a feather, a floating volume, light in form and innovative in content. It’s magical, it provides clear white light, while the light fixture itself is illuminated purple (or red or green if you change the filters). Titanium/aluminium coloured lamellar shell. New filter sets are €80 per colour and ours come with the installed purple plus 2 (new in the box) red and green. Does not come with the optional up and down kit (metal ball to adjust height, this can be ordered elsewhere) it’s height is adjusted in the ceiling rozet and comes with just over a meters length of metal cable. One of the lamels seems to be slightly bent, see the two photos labeled 'B’. In very good vintage condition, bit of dust, see the photos! Comes with the (used) bulbs visible in the photos. (2x E27) A floating futuristic elliptical/oval spaceship. Titania is the largest satellite moon of Uranus, which in turn was named after the queen of the fairies in Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
