This unique and rarely offered vintage postmodern design lamp, the D 17 T, designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan, has a striking appearance and was only produced in a small edition. This floor lamp was released by Luceplan in 1995 as a companion to the Titania pendant lamp from 1989. The "T" stands for "terra," Italian for floor. A series of aluminum ellipses and various ribs form the structure of the lamellar shell. This serves as an anti-glare screen and a central light source reflector. Titania illuminates and "decorates" the home. This floor version finds a place next to sofas or armchairs in living rooms, but can also be used in a high-end business environment or in waiting rooms/reception areas, etc. The lamp's appearance is determined by two interchangeable color filters. A total of 5 sets of color filters (blue, yellow, green, purple, and red) are included in the original packaging. The elliptical lamp is a striking light source that, thanks to its shape and translucent structure, is unobtrusive in the room. The lamp is delivered in working order, complete with light source, dimmer, and 5 sets of polycarbonate color filters.
The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear and age (see photo of the stand/leg; it shows some rust-like spots, likely easy to remove).
Item can be picked up in Utrecht (for this reason, shipping costs are €0).
