Product description
Rare large Thiriez & Cartier Bresson haberdashery drawer unit from the early 20th century, with eight drawers, each with its original brass label holder.
The box is made of wood and heavy cardboard covered in a chocolate-colored, slightly marbled, leather-like paper. Inscriptions and a monogram in gilt (slightly faded) adorn all four sides. The inside of each drawer is lined with a very attractive olive-green paper.
In good condition, with some stains and scratches, small holes from old insects (this piece has been treated), and only one small knob (on the bottom drawer) is not original.
