Atmospheric and refined genre scene The Dice Players (Les Joueurs de dés), oil painting on canvas, by Théophile Marie Françoise Lybaert (Ghent 1848–1927). The composition depicts a lively moment surrounding a game of dice, executed in historicist attire with great attention to expression, rendering of fabrics, and balance. Signed center right and set in a fitting classical frame.
