Rare cantilever chair designed by Toon de White for Gebroeders De Wit, 1940s. These De White tubular chairs are very comfortable to sit in. This is an old version from the late 1940s with folding armrests that are flat in the front and rise at the back. The seat and backrest have been reupholstered with green PET bottle fabric. So very sustainable!
Materials: The frame is made of chromed iron and the seat and back are made of wood covered with beige corduroy upholstery and the armrests are made of Bakelite. Dimensions: hxwxd = 78 x 56 x 65 cm. The seat height is 42 cm and the seat depth is 45 cmA scratch here and there
