The Pop Stand Restored Mid-Century Modern TV & Media Unit (Tung Oil & Caju Finish) The Story: True Mid-Century design is an exercise in proportion and restraint. This original 1960s multimedia stand has been masterfully revived through 14 hours of dedicated, hands-on restoration. The entire structure was cleaned and sanded down by hand to uncover its honest, vintage character. We treated the grain with a bespoke Caju Stain to ground the piece in a warm, inviting earthiness, subsequently feeding the timber with 3 generous coats of pure Tung Oil to draw out its deep, chatoyant organic patterns. For absolute durability against daily life, it features a marine-grade varnish core and a traditional hand-waxed top coat. Its architectural silhouette is defined by signature tapered "pegs" and incredibly sharp, beveled edges on the main tiers, offering a beautiful contrast with the darker border trim. Highly versatile, it functions elegantly as a minimalist media unit for a turntable setup, a curated coffee-table-style chess station, or an elevated display stand for your art book collection.
