This "The Ghost of a Chair" is a free-form sculptural piece of art furniture, handcrafted from a single sheet of black polyester. Each chair is unique due to its unconventional manufacturing process, which uses a combination of high-end technology and craftsmanship. Volatile and unpredictable, each Phantom Armchair is a unique art chair by Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers.
Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers was born in Mexico City in 1977 to a Mexican father and a French mother. After graduating in industrial design from the Ibero-American University of Mexico in 2000, she specialized in contemporary furniture in London between 2005 and 2007. Since then, her work has been as highly regarded in the design world as in contemporary art.
