Work by Teis Albers, beautifully framed, original price 1100€ see photo,
Teis Albers (1982) attends the school for graphic design in Eindhoven and starts working as a freelancer immediately after graduation. After several years of working and living in 's-Hertogenbosch, he moves to a more remote village. The contrast between city and village forms the basis for his work. Cracks in the walls with layers of torn posters next to nature and wide views. Busy shopping malls with screaming advertisements and a flock of birds.
Albers mixes elements of nature, pop art and street art into his work. He finds his inspiration in vintage stuff, comics, old brochures, travel, film, art, nature and music. From discarded typography and weathered billboards to still life and comic book ads. From the subconscious, he plays with these various elements and allows the compositions to emerge layer by layer.
Everything comes together in a digital canvas where he has complete control over size, composition and color. Then comes the physical layering of multiple prints and various materials such as paint, paper and varnish.
Work is in good condition, size image itself 70x70 cm
