Tecta Oblique K1A table in white lacquer and K1AS table with two drawers, table top in black / white lacquer. Very good condition, with minor signs of use. The set of coffee tables has two separate heights and it allows to place the tables over another. With its large drawers each table offers a storage space for your items that you use regularly in your living room area but that you may not want to see on your table all the time. They allow to arrange them in length as needed and certainly enrich your home interior with their traditional presence and functionality. Based on the experience as a licensed producer of some of the most prominent Bauhaus steel tube furniture, the Tecta company developed a new, flat shape of the traditional steel tube, in the tradition of the Bauhaus. The steel is shaped into a flat oval cross-section and this technically complex frame of the table is strongly influenced by designs of famous architect Marcel Breuer. Breuer and Jean Prouve had already designed a similar shape of the steel tube to achieve a higher stability of the cantilever and steel tube chairs. Tecta continues this tradition with this in-house design, adding a new technical and elegant feature with this design. Execution by Tecta, chrome-plated tubular steel frame, lacquered wood.
