The Djenné swivel armchair from Design on Stock was designed by renowned designer Gerard van den Berg (born 1947). His designs are known for their pure and simple forms, created with love and craftsmanship. He also uses honest materials and unique techniques. The sleek lines of the swivel armchair flow seamlessly from the backrest, through the armrests, to the base. A striking detail is the diverging base, which, thanks to its flat ends, appears to integrate with the floor. Gerard van den Berg paid particular attention to seating comfort in his design, such as the slightly reclined seat of the armchair. The high backrest also offers optimal shoulder support, and the loose cushion ensures a firm seat.
