Product description
Impressionist painting by the listed Swedish painter John Börén (1903-1983). The picture was painted with oil technique on the panel in the 1960s. The picture is signed by hand in the lower right corner. In an original period setting.
John August Gustaf Börén, born on June 6, 1903. In Hököpinge, Malmö Karoli parish, he died there on January 22, 1983, he was a Swedish painter.
Boren was a self-taught artist and studied independently while traveling to Italy and France. From 1932, he regularly exhibited at the Skåne art association, as well as the Hörby art association and The Twelve group. He exhibited separately in Trelleborg and Malmö. Börén’s work can be seen at the Malmö Museum and at the Sydöstra Skåne Art Museum in Tomelilla.
