Extendable round teak table produced in the 1960s by the Swedish manufacturer J.O. Carlsson of Vetlanda, as confirmed by the original maker’s label underneath the top. Equipped with two extension leaves, the table can extend to a maximum length of 220 cm, while maintaining visual continuity and functionality. J.O. Carlsson Vetlanda was one of the furniture manufacturers active in the Småland region during the post-war decades, an area renowned for its woodworking tradition and for the development of modern Swedish design. The company’s production was characterized by the careful use of teak and by furniture defined by restrained lines and solid craftsmanship, embodying the Nordic modernist approach to everyday domestic interiors.
