Vintage 3-seater sofa designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Møbler (Norway), ca. 1960
A rare piece from the Scandinavian Mid - Century modern period, featuring a solid teak frame and original black Skai (faux leather) upholstery with vertical tufting.
This sofa is a textbook example of 1960s Scandinavian design, combining functionality, natural materials and elegance. The frame is beautifully formed in solid teak with curved armrests and an open side construction. The sofa is low, spacious, and exudes a timeless vintage charm.

- The sofa has never been reupholstered or restored and is completely in original condition.
This sofa is in authentic vintage condition and has not been restored. The wooden frame of solid teak is sturdy and stable, with obvious signs of use such as light scratches and discoloration on the armrests, appropriate to the age of the furniture.
The upholstery is original Skai (faux leather) from the 1960s and shows considerable wear:
- The seat shows drying cracks and discoloration all over the surface.
- There is a visible tear in the right seat, as clearly shown in the photos.
- The backrest is structurally intact, but also shows surface wear.
This makes the piece ideal for lovers of original Scandinavian design who are open to a restoration project.
