A superb, very old farmhouse table, judging by its history and patina.
Beautifully pegged construction in solid oak.
Very original, two enormous solid oak drawers are hidden under the tabletop (a more recent modification).
Despite its generous dimensions, it has retained its elegance and lightness.
Another unique feature and advantage for a table of this era, often too low today, is its 77 cm high tabletop (was it a tradesman's table? A draper's table, perhaps?).
It is very stable, cleaned, treated, and fully waxed, highlighting the grain and a lovely patinated old wood tone.
